Sorry been so long!

As some of you know… I’m somewhere in the sandbox again. Keeping up with my kettlebell drills, keeping in shape!

What I’m up to besides keeping in shape: I’m attending University of the Incarnate Word (San Antonio) online. I’m studying to get my personal trainer certificate. At work, I’m wearing many hats. I have to work two shifts in order to do some of the jobs I do. I have to do that because, for some reason, they don’t think my jobs are important enough to give me a computer. Since I’m connected to a Govt network, I can’t use my personal computer. Don’t worry, I listen to my body and sleep when I need to. I eat a ton but it’s all good food.

Was watching this grasshopper just a minute ago. He (she?) would hover about 3 feet into the air for maybe 10 seconds and then drop back to the ground for another 30 seconds. Did it over and over again.

Wondering if it was doing it because there was an ant swarm nearby – as a warning – or was it attracting a mate?

I ran to grab my flip cam to show you all. When I returned, I saw the answer to my question. He or she was busy with it’s mate. Didn’t want to disturb them – privacy and all that you know.

Yeah why do people want to ruin things for other people?

I will never understand why.

Someone put bad script of this site for unknown reasons. I searched through all the code to find a message within code for an ad. How did they do it? I don’t now. I deleted it and had Google Diagnostics do a reconsideration after I deleted the bad code. If you’re having the same problem Google is the place to go. They will run a diagnostic and tell you what the problem is. They will give you examples of how to get rid of the malware or code and then re-run a diagnostic, then clear you if the problem is gone.

Sitting in my room, engaging with my troops. Every day is a training experience… for what?

For some future situation? I remember walking for miles and miles to get ready for basic training. I never really ran before, I didn’t know how. I ran in school but that wasn’t really running. I didn’t know what I was doing.

To train others? I learn every day from people who have been there/has done that. I talk to other people, I tell little stories of my own experiences. There’s no better thing to hear from some soldier than: “Hey remember that story you told me about what a rocket sounds like when it’s coming toward you? Well I heard that sound and took cover… it saved my life.”

You never really know. Do we? That one odd story ended up saving some one’s life. Don’t stop talking, engaging and leading the way. Don’t worry about what people think of you. You have some experience to share. You can change a life for the better, even if it’s your own.

I’ve been away training since the beginning of June. Can you believe it?

I get to go home for a few days on the 13th of August. I’ll be so happy to see my baby. While I was away, she fell on her bike and was injured badly. The kids have been helping her out and for that, I really appreciate it! I hope my baby gets healed very quickly.

While I’ve been VERY bored in my hotel room, I’ve since finished building a prototype for an exercise utility. I’m in the process of patenting my product. Meanwhile, I’ve been swinging kettlebell and doing some hardstyle exercises. I AM RIPPED!
